We’re grateful to everyone who continues to support The G.C.M.C. Every stream, playlist add, share — even just reading this — helps us build momentum. And yes, sometimes it literally helps us buy the coffee Cat needs to finish producing, mixing, and polishing the next songs. ☕️
For years we’ve teased new material. Instead of rushing just to be “in the moment,” we’re taking our time to make sure the songs feel right. We’re down to the final stretch: a few more tweaks, a couple more melodies, a dash more attitude, and then — music everywhere (not just SoundCloud)!
We see this as a moment of reintroduction rather than following a wave. Our goal is to bring elements of what we love — the storytelling, the hooks, the grit — into the modern soundscape. Power pop may not be front and center now, but we’re not waiting for permission — we’re pushing for it.
